The Past

Castlemartin Stud sits on the banks of the River Liffey in Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. Formerly a key estate of the Eustace family, it is today home to Sir Anthony and Lady O’Reilly.

Castlemartin House was built by a Dublin Banker and member of Parliament Francis Harrison in 1720. The O’Reilly family purchased the estate in 1972 from Lord Gowrie and it has been their home since then.

The Future

“The golden age is not in the past but in the future”

The studs have already bred more than 150 individual stakes winners yet it continues to be our future potential that excites us most.
